SPECIFICATION
Solar cable insulation piercing connector ZOP-300, either called PV cable piercing connector, developed to branch the insulated service electrical cable from trunk bus system cable, used in medium or large-scale solar power stations.
APPLICATION
This solar photovoltaic piercing connector is made of UV resistant thermoplastic, stainless steel, aluminum shear head and stainless steel washer. All the materials are weather proof which ensure long time service life. Due to the insulation piercing technology, there is no need to stripping cable’s insulation which make the installation become easier.
Jera’s Insulation Piercing Connector had passed the EN 50483:2009 standard tests such as: dielectrical voltage underwater test, UV temperature aging test, electrical aging test, and corrosion aging test which are available in Jera internal laboratory.
